Button #1: Why am I Famous?

by Phoenix Inskeep

My name is Steve Jobs. I am most famous for making Apple computers, iPods, iTouches, and iPhones. All of these Apple creations were cutting edge technology because people could call their friends, play games, take pictures, check email, and listen to music on those devices. iPhones and other devices had great touch screens. Touch screens are screens that follow your touch to control the machine. If you touch on the right the pointer goes to right. This is why I’m famous.

My accomplishments were Apple, NeXT, Pixar, iPods, Mac, iPhones, and iTunes. I made the company Apple and NeXT. Both made computers. NeXT made expensive computers and went out of business. I made the first animated Pixar movie, Toy Story. l had many accomplishments.

Late in 2011, I died of pancreatic cancer. I died shortly after the release of the iPhone 4s. Even after I died, people still used my computers, iPods and iPhones. I changed the world with technology. I am proud of that technology.

Button #2 Personal History

by Phoenix Inskeep

My name is Steven Paul Jobs, and I had a great family. I was born on February 24, 1955, in California, and I was adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs. My sibling, Patti was adopted by them too. My natural parents were Joanne Schieble and Abdulfattah Jandali. My wife is Laurene and my children are Lisa, Reed, Erin and Evan. l had a great family!

My high school was in the Silicon Valley of California. Although I never graduated college, the college I attended was Reed in Oregon.

I passed away on October 5, 2011, from pancreatic cancer. While I was alive, I worked hard to make technology easier for people to use. People still used my technology after I passed away.

Button #3: What I Learned from Steve Jobs

by Phoenix Inskeep

I learned from Steve Jobs that you have to be strong and smart to make great technological tools. Some examples from his life that show this are that he created touch screens and Apple, which has never been done before. He was a strong and smart figure who made amazing technological tools that changed the world.

I can connect this to my own life and today’s world because I use my iPad every week at home and I use a Macbook laptop at school. Steve Jobs left his mark in many places, especially schools.

One thing that connects to today’s world that will stay with me about Steve Jobs is that he helped our world with technology through his dreams.
